We have all heard about the three second rule - dropping food on the floor, it'll be safe to eat within three seconds. Which of course is nonsense, most certainly in food manufacturing.

Hygiene is rightly seen as part of food safety, but all too often it gets pushed back if Production are running behind, or Engineering needs a clear window to conduct PPM.

I'm working with a company that recognises the importance of impeccable Hygiene standards. Their frozen dairy product is hugely appealing to children so improving and maintaining outstanding levels of cleaning is non-negotiable.

If you're at the top of your game but struggling to see how you can grow, this opportunity offers you dual site Hygiene Management responsibility. Initially based at a site of c.200 in North London, you will also be involved in the project to bring a brand-new site on board. Ultimately you will control Hygiene standards for both with an overall team of c50-60 people.

Ideally we're looking for experience of working with frozen foods, or at the very least chilled dairy products. You'll be used to running Hygiene teams at BRC AA+ sites, with a thorough understanding of the HACCP.
