Product & Innovation Support Technologist, Greater Manchester

You'll be joining a supportive and talented team as Product & Innovation Support Technologist. This is a varied role, supporting the NPD function so you'll gain a real breadth of experience.

You'll be involved in product benchmarking, gap analysis and the quality and organoleptic assessment of products. Supporting the NPD Managers handling projects through the stage and gate process, you'll be working with all functions across the business and with external manufacturing partners.

If you are hungry to learn with a can-do attitude, you'll fit in well here. You'll need to be confident in presenting your ideas and dealing with people at all levels. You'll also need good organisation skills and the ability to focus on the detail, even when under pressure.

Ideally, you'll have -

• A Food Science or related qualification
• Experience working in NPD
• A knowledge or organoleptic assessment (especially within food manufacturing) and of sensory evaluation techniques.
• A knowledge of food manufacturing principles and HACCP

You'll need the right to work in the UK too.
