Technical Manager

Hybrid Home Working/Office 


£60,000-£70,000 + bonus + benefits package

We are looking for a Technical Manager to join a fast expanding business. Working at the London Head Office you’ll ensure that the supply chain from Supplier to customer is as seamless as possible and all eventualities have been considered.

Working closely with Supply Chain and product development you will be the first point of contact on all legislative and enforcement actions in the supply chain.

Key Accountabilities

  • Managing customer complaints relating to spec and foreign bodies
  • Working with the development team to ensure the products developed can be implemented in line with company and legal food safety guidelines
  • Ensuring the quality, safety and legality of all food products
  • Building great relationships with our suppliers to ensure they meet our high standards
  • Own the product information
  • Nutrition and allergen management
  • Manage all food safety aspects for all new and existing products
  • Drive ethical compliance of all supply partners
  • Manage the crisis management, food withdrawals and recalls
  • Review and build all food safety policies and systems

Person Profile

  • Previous experience in a technical role within retail, food service or manufacturing
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of HACCP & quality procedures
  • Advanced food hygiene
  • Experience of managing NPD projects
  • Supplier management/auditing skills
  • Experience of working with and managing Quality Management Systems
