Our client is a leading global supplier of high-quality ingredients for food & beverage, health & nutrition, animal nutrition, flavour & fragrance, and personal care industries worldwide.

Key responsibility:

The Quality technologist will play a key part in the supplier monitoring program by conducting documentation evaluation and regulatory compliance checks.

  • Complete customer questionnaires based on regulatory and supplier information available. This involves:
  • Log and file all customer questionnaires from reception to completion
  • Maintain clear communication with the customer, the sales manager and other business partner during the completion process of questionnaires and queries to manage priorities
  • Coordinate with other department to obtain information needed for customers
  • Check suppliers CoA against specifications at goods-in for animal feed tagging purposes
  • Deal with quality technical queries from customers & suppliers related to regulatory, food safety, quality, and CSR matters
  • Lead & participate to specific projects as identified by the business for improvement of our Quality Management System.

Person Profile:

  • Great understanding of Quality requirements and standard in the food industry (ISO, HACCP, BRC, GFSi etc.)
  • Experience with certification requirements
  • Previous experience within a Quality, Technical of R&D role in the Food Industry
  • A high level of business English is essential for this role.
  • German speaking candidates highly desirable
  • IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. 
  • Experience working with retail online specification systems
  • Food labelling / Food legislations training or understanding is essential.
  • Attention to detail – complete all tasks in an accurate and consistent manner
