Job Details

This is your opportunity to become part of a global dairy business built on a heritage of family values, innovation and sustainability.

Chances are, if you're in the field of animal nutrition, you'll know the name Volac.

Volac forge genuine partnerships with their customers, from a heritage built on strong foundations of family values, innovation and sustainability.

The environmental impact of dairy farming remains in the news, as part of the focus to reduce global carbon footprint. Improving the health of ruminants is a key part of the agenda. The overlap between genetics and improved immunity is driving future innovation at Volac.

As part of the Global Technical Team, the Regulatory Manager is the external face of Volac, representing the company within UK and international regulatory bodies. Although you'll work autonomously, there's a high degree of collaboration, linking in with R&D, Commercial and Manufacturing teams to support on regulatory advice across existing and new product areas globally.

Volac is an ambitious company, commercial growth is essential in continuing to develop product and reach new markets. Everyone plays their part; in this role you'll lead and develop finished product sustainability strategy, to increase global understanding of using Volac products in sustainable ruminant production.

Ideally, we're looking for a background in ruminant animal nutrition, with knowledge of the fermentation and freeze-drying processes used in the manufacture of lactic acid bacteria. Realistically we know that's a big ask. As a minimum, you'll need to be working in a regulatory, compliance or technical role in animal nutrition, ideally with a familiarity of dairy nutrition.

Your science-based degree will preferably be furthered by a Masters degree in a relevant science. Strong project leadership is key here; you'll bring a team-focussed work ethic along with some good examples of past successes where communication and collaboration have achieved results.

For more information and discussion, send in your details or get in touch to find out more.

All applications should be forwarded through Focus only, who are working exclusively with Volac on this role.
