My client is one of the most dynamic and fast-growing start-ups in the UK they have been operating for over eight years and are growing YOY. Their mission is to provide convenient tasty food for everyday families.
They have tripled in size over the last 24 months and have more sites planned to increase capacity.
The Operational Excellence Team is responsible for making the operations world class. To stay at the top of their game, it is imperative that my client continually improves their operations to improve their customer experience, drive efficiencies and have an engaged team that truly "put the business first".
My client is looking for an experienced Operations Excellence Manager to join one of the businesses new sites which is due to start producing in January 2022 to ensure the site continually improves across people, process and technology.
This will initially be a 12 month fixed term contract which has a high percentage of a job at the end due to the growing nature of the company. The Operations Excellence team works closely with teams in operations, technology and proposition to come up with solutions to there biggest customer and operational problems.
Your role will be to focus on ensuring that the business is constantly improving the way things are done across the supply chain and operation to improve the customer experience, expand capacity and improve efficiency. You will work with teams to find solutions to complex problems that matter, such as analysing how our client can step change on time in full performance.
You will continually look to challenge the way things are done across the clients operations and supply chain, leveraging latest industry best practice to ensure that they innovate. You will be supporting with the operational excellence strategy. As well as leading the delivery of key strategic transformations that build operational capability through working closely with Tech and Operational teams.
To apply you will:
- Be a proven Operational Excellence Manager who thrives in a fast-paced FMCG environment
- Have a strong background in operations, supply chain or consulting
- Have previously delivered cross-functional projects
- Have FMCG/E-commerce/ Consumer Goods Industry experience
- Have Project management and/or change delivery skills
- Have Commercial skills, analytical skills, and be able to prioritise tasks
- Be a strong communicator at all levels in the business
