They have recently started exporting to Europe and are now seeking a Head of International to support their growth plans into European and international markets.
This is a brilliant chance to use your strong commercial and negotiation skills, working with this food start-up business to target overseas markets and develop an effective business growth plan for their growing portfolio. You’ll be building new markets and developing business opportunities, contributing to the company’s growth through the creation and delivery of an international export strategy.
One of the key elements of this position will involve the development of strong supplier and customer relationship, networking with contacts to establish the effective delivery of sales and distribution plans in line with customer and business requirements. In addition you’ll be using your judgement and initiative to formulate and implement constructive solutions to commercial challenges and successfully lead all export activity.
We are looking for an ambitious sales manager with a real passion for the food industry and a track record of building key accounts with new and existing customers across Europe as well as internationally.
You will need excellent knowledge and experience of how to successfully expand into overseas markets; driving sales and growth for an entrepreneurial business. Experience of working within the chilled short shelf-life category and understand the complexities of logistics, exporting, ways of working overseas and the impact of Brexit is essential. It would be ideal if you can speak fluently French and German for this role.
