Design to Print Technologist (12 month FTC)

The Company

The Role

In this multifaceted role, you will work as part of the NPD team and support with the delivery of design and print initiatives for the brand.  Responsibilities will include taking packaging artwork from initial design ideas through repro to full packaging delivery.

You will implement design changes and NPD for the brand’s packaging, evaluating artwork requirements, co-ordinating the process from design concept through to final packaging.

This will involve managing the artwork critical paths, following up approvals, resolving technical queries and leading packaging and artwork related meetings to ensure alignment with all the teams involved.

You will create repro briefs, approve repro files and ensure all actions associated with repro are completed, interfacing with internal and external parties to ensure the flawless delivery of products.

The Person

Suit a creative and driven Technologist with packaging artwork experience who understands how to deliver excellence in printed packaging artworks and able to work on multiple projects across multiple markets.

A Diploma or Degree in Print, Design or Packaging would be great, but a sound understanding of the artwork design process, repro, print techniques and packaging line trials is essential.

You will need to have meticulous attention to detail, be a skilled problem solver, with the ability to organise and manage multiple projects with confidence.   You must have experience from design stage to final packaging where you have worked with cross-functional teams, repro agencies, design agencies, packaging suppliers, regulatory, supply chain and marketing teams.
