As a leading provider of premium own label food for a major retailer, Dovecote Park are looking for a highly motivated and proactive Process Technologist to work within our Technical Team.

Reporting to the QA Manager you will take ownership for the transition of new products from kitchen approval to production and launch.  Key responsibilities include managing projects within agreed timescales and budgets, ensuring customer specifications are adhered to throughout the product lifecycle,  coordinating and participating in pre-launch trials for all new products and compiling reports and providing feedback on costs and yields.

To work as part of the Technical team to implement and maintain internal and external product specifications and Quality attribute sheets in the absence of the specification technologist.

The role involves working closely with the Quality and Technical teams to guarantee the highest levels of product quality and taste and supporting the NPD team by providing advice on the development process.

Applicants are required to have a Food Science or Technology qualification and previous experience of working in a Process Development position would be desirable.  We are looking for candidates with an analytical and practical approach to tasks with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage simultaneous projects.
