They have a super urgent 3-month fixed term contract for a Retail Supply Chain Manager to join the Logistics team and work directly with their key Retail customers. They would consider day rate or pro-rata salary.
In this fast-paced and exciting role, you’ll be reporting into the Logistics Manager, and you’ll be responsible for the short-term forecasting and demand planning process to ensure alignment with major retail customers’ forecasts. You will build strong relationships with key customers’ supply chain teams and own the S&OP process to ensure great on-shelf availability and reduce waste.
You will guarantee best-in-class customer collaboration and ensure a brilliant customer service function to our retailers where customers feel confident in the ability to deal with issues and shorts coming up. You’ll also be the key point of contact for all order related queries from all customers.
We are looking for a driven and experienced Retail Supply Chain Manager who has gained strong demand planning experience within a fast paced FMCG environment, ideally manufacturing and selling products to the top 4 grocers. Previous experience working for a food brand would be advantageous.
We need a real foodie, who can develop collaborative relationships with suppliers and UK retailers. You’ll need a flexible approach where you can adapt quickly to new challenges and embrace the energy within an entrepreneurial, pacey business.
You’ll also need to have stunning project management skills, and be highly analytical with the ability to interpret data and find the gaps to achieve success. In addition, you will be able to use your varied experience and skills to strategically influence the business, challenging existing practices, creating tools/process improvements and providing solutions to deliver outstanding results.
