You’ll be a Food Science Graduate, a born foodie, someone who enjoys creating their own recipes, food blogging, following leading chefs on Instagram and up to date with both current and emerging food trends. You’ll be super excited about interpreting and translating a diverse range of customer briefs from kitchen concepts to successful product launch. Following The Appointed Group’s successful placement of a Senior Development Chef based at their recently acquired Development Kitchen Suite in North Yorkshire, we’re now seeking a Concept Technologist to support him and the companies wider UK Innovation teams with development of exciting new products.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Continuous R&D of your product category and food trend monitoring
Hands on kitchen and recipe development of new concepts as well as EPD lines
Under guidance of senior management work closely and build strong working relationships with key account managers to create and deliver agreed budgetary & commercial goals and objectives within specified categories
Key understanding and grasp of customer requirements and expectations
Identifying key trends to ensure clients are informed and that agreed products are commercially viable
Playing a key part in presenting panels and collation of the results from the panels.
Attending multiple UK factory sites to assist with trials, pre-productions and launch.
A highly competitive salary of between £20-24,000 plus an excellent benefits package.
