Are you a Technical Manager working within fresh produce? If so, we'd like to hear from you.
About our Client
We are recruiting for an established and highly regarded multi-site fresh produce business packing into the retail, foodservice sector, box schemes, wholesale markets and import and export. This is a new role for business and will report to the Head of Technical.
About the Role
As Technical Manager you will manage the technical departments ensuring the business is fully compliant and up to date with legislation/customer requirements and maintaining full accreditation at all times. You will be a key point of contact for internal & external business customers regarding technical matters. Lead site audits as BRC, Red Tractor, Organic Soil Association and customer compliance audits. Overall responsibility for the product specifications against customer requirements.
The Ideal Candidate
You will be ideally educated to a degree level in food science, food technology, or a food safety related discipline for this role.
You will have experience of working as a Technical Manager within fresh produce. Have good experience working with customers and suppliers. Flexible approach to work.
The business has sites in Lincolnshire, Worcestershire and Merseyside so there is the option to work from any of these locations.
