National Account Manager

We are seeking a talented individual for a well-established business that prides itself on delivering exceptional customer service.
The company is a successful food manufacturer which has experienced significant growth in the past decade, supplying key customers in the UK retail, foodservice, and food manufacturing sectors.
As a result of their growth and expansion, the business is now looking for an ambitious National Account Manager to join their successful and highly driven team.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for:
- Managing existing customers and business relationships.
- Identify creative new business opportunities.
- Build positive new customer relationships to bring these opportunities to life.
- Successfully manage or co/manage customer NPD and EPD projects.
- Lead pricing negotiations and tightly manage P&L.
Due to the ongoing company success, there is an excellent opportunity for progression within the business.
We are looking for an individual with a strong track record in sales development and account management within the UK food manufacturing industry.
Experience working with at least one of the Top 5 UK retailers is essential.
You will have a proven history of developing and retaining new business and building genuine and effective relationships with customers, delivering outstanding results.
A full UK valid driving licence is essential.
The National Account Manager job will involve UK travel nationwide visiting customers. One visit per week to one of the company sites (based in the South East, North West and South Wales) will be required.
The salary is £38,000 - £50,000 according to experience plus company car/car allowance.
