As NPD Technologist you'll be working on market-leading innovation projects for a chilled food manufacturer. This business has a wide range of customers and creates delicious new concepts with a focus on health and nutrition.

You'll be developing recipes in the kitchen, working to customer briefs. You'll present new concepts to customers and be involved in product benchmarking and consumer trends analysis. You'll take your concepts through factory trials, troubleshooting any issues in production, through to successful launch. It's a varied, hands-on role that would suit someone with experience handling NPD projects from concept to launch.

A real passion for food and an interest in the latest food trends is key. If you have a keen interest in nutrition and health trends that would be a big advantage. You'll need to be able to manage your time well, ensuring projects meet all required deadlines. Having initiative and being adaptable to changing demands will help you succeed here.

This business is well-established and successful with a strategy for further sustainable growth in their categories. This means they'll be opportunities for you to develop and grow with it. Whilst this is mainly a site-based role, there will be some travel to visit customers, suppliers and other sites in the group. Therefore, you'll need a driving licence and transport for the role. The company can offer flexibility on working hours to suit your preferences.
