Senior Development Technologist, Lancashire

This is a new role to support the NPD Manager in a leading food manufacturing business. They manufacture products that are household favourites and produced to the highest quality standards. The business continues to enjoy sustained growth and the product range is expanding further.

You'll be working across all NPD, EPD and blue-sky projects in the business, managing a small team. This will encompass brand and own label development at site and working across other manufacturing facilities. You'll work closely with colleagues in Technical and Production, striving to continually improve ways of working and deliver projects successfully on time.

You and your team will oversee all projects from concept to launch, from product benchmarking and trend analysis through recipe development, factory trials to post-launch review. Taking ownership for project management you'll manage the critical paths and keep colleagues updated on progress and challenges to overcome.

You'll need solid experience in a similar NPD role in food manufacturing - ideally in a fast-paced product category.
