Technical Manager

Our client is a Chilled, Ready to Eat Food Manufacturer. It’s an exciting time to join this profitable and BRC accredited business as their new Technical Manager at their site in Northamptonshire. They currently supply some of the major retailers with own label products as well as supplying Food Service. 

In the role you will be reporting to the Group Head of Technical and will have a QA and Compliance manager reporting into you, as well as having a dotted line to the Hygiene function.

To be successful within this role, you will be a good decision maker who is able to remain calm under pressure, leading the team to positive outcome through a mixture of delegation and a hands on where necessary. You will also be a very organised individual, who's able to influence your team and peers. 

This role will involve exciting challenges, such as:

• Working at a high pace
• Re-enforcing the quality culture in the site
• Supporting the business with current growth plans
• Leading high profile customer visits

Essentials

• Experience with Ready to Eat products
• Successfully operated at a Technical Manager level 
• Well versed with Retailer Codes of Practice

Desirables  

• Exposure to M&S Codes of Practice
