Due to recent investment and an ambitious growth strategy this branded business have created a new role for an exceptionally talented NPD professional to support their plans with the development of their existing product range and extending their core platform into new categories.
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, your key responsibility will be to develop and deliver the NPD programme as well as project change management for the existing range. You will develop new product opportunities that are appropriate for the brand by generating insight via research, both consumer & technical, to support NPD ideation. This also includes the co-ordination of the new capability for the business to enable effective change and realisation of projected benefits.
Your remit will be from ideation stage through to successful launch for all projects and this will include the planning and design of the NPD programme of projects, budget management, working with 3rd party contributors and managing communications with all stakeholders.
Suit a talented NPD Project Manager who has experience of managing complex projects to extend an existing product portfolio and new market opportunities. Must have credible experience of managing R&D / NPD Projects within food & drink or health & well-being categories for a branded business. This includes driving product research, formulation development and being highly adept at bringing products to market.
You must be able to work as part of a small multi-disciplinary team, successfully managing complex projects, influencing internal and external stakeholders at each stage of the project.
Knowledge of programme and project management methods, resource allocation, business case development and approval skills are also required.
You will need to be able to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment where you need to be enthusiastic, resourceful and a great finder of solutions.
