Job Title: Artwork Project Manager FTC Feb 2023
Location: Bishops Stortford
Salary: Competitive basic + Benefits
The Role:
An exciting new project at Gu Puds has created this position where you will be responsible for technically liaising between the designer, Repro House and printer to make sure all designs can be successfully printed.
Responsibilities:
- Make sure all designs can be efficiently run on the packing line (i.e. cutters correctly followed by designers, embossing, varnish finishes, foiling etc).
- Control the online approval system and be the master approver so vetting all amends to make sure they are legal and do not impact on the runnability of packaging.
- Technically approve all artworks.
- If concerns are raised by printers regarding printing issues conduct proof testing to evaluate final designs.
- Check all pack copies are legally correct.
- Cover for the Packaging & Product Launch Assistant (i.e. create new SAP codes, barcodes, maintain BOM’s and Routing, update MPIS and Packaging Summary sheet).
- Assist NPD Project Manager with controlling costs to ensure designs are produced that are generally four colour process.
- Attend regular meetings with the printers and repro-house to ensure project follow timelines, led by NPD Project Manager
- Attend alignment meetings with key stakeholders to ensure projects are on track and address key challenges, led by NPD Project Manager
- Assist NPD Project Manager with artwork timeline development
