About Our Client

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a fantastic business with an excellent reputation for producing a superb standard of product. They are looking for an enthusiastic Operations Manager with excellent leadership ability to manage all aspects of production; ensuring goods are finished to specification and cost.

About the Job

As mentioned, you will oversee the full operation of the business and site. You will ensure that the packhouse production is running smoothly, efficiently, and cost-effectively. You will be committed to promoting a safe working culture, managing the standards, being the dedicated provision on-site driving the safety culture and best practice, including behavioral aspects of Health & Safety, Operations, and Continuous Improvement.

The Ideal Candidate

They are looking for an Operations professional with excellent communication ability with natural people skills to support and influence a wide range of people. It is essential that you are a manager with a proven track record of Production / Operations within fresh produce or fresh food manufacturing environment, knowledge of lean methods, and comes with a flexible, positive, and proactive approach.
