Are you an experienced planning professional looking for your next contract? Looking to gain experience within a highly reputable site and work within a refreshingly innovative environment?

Following exciting projects taking place across the business, we are supporting a highly reputable client to look over the Planning and Scheduling Manager role throughout project implementation. The existing colleague will be supporting elsewhere within the business and will be on hand to support with an effective hand over and ongoing support if required.

The contract is fixed to 12 months with possibility to extend further.

The business are market leaders; truly setting the standard within food manufacturing. Highly established, growing and with a fantastic reputation within the industry.

The successful candidate will be overseeing multiple complex processes across site. The role is fast paced and will give you plenty to sink your teeth into daily. You will being liaising with both internal and external key contacts and plan proactively where possible.

The team in place are well established and provide a friendly and open working environment. You will be personable, a natural leader and a true go getter, looking to take your career to the next level.

You will be strong with various planning systems; confidence in utilising Excel is essential as is previous ERP/MRP exposure. Specific training for the on site planning systems would be provided.

There is one direct report within the role who works autonomously; however previous mentoring/leadership experience is required in order to be able to provide support when required.

To be successful, you will have a previous food manufacturing background. Ideally you will have experience within leadership either in a Planning Manager/Supervisor/Senior Planner position.
