About our Client
We are recruiting for an established and highly regarded family-owned farming and produce business supplying retail, foodservice and food manufacturing customers with a variety of packaged vegetable and prepared vegetable products
About the Role
As Technical Manager reporting into the Technical Director, you will ensure the business units are fully compliant and up to date with legislation/customer requirements and maintain full accreditation. You will be a key point of contact for internal & external business customers regarding technical matters. Lead site audits as BRC, Red Tractor, Organic Soil Association and customer compliance audits. Lead HACCP Team ensuring the documentation is current and reviewed annually. Overall responsibility for the product specifications against customer requirements.
The Ideal Candidate
You will be ideally educated to a degree level in food science, food technology, or a food safety-related discipline for this role.
You will have experience of working as a Technical Manager within fresh produce. Experience in dealing with retailer portals, HACCP and Food Safety Level 3.
