Food manufacturing can be a tough environment at the best of times. When you're working on the front line in food safety and technical, there are no margins for error. With skill shortages in food manufacturing and supply chain dominating the headlines, manufacturers are looking for experienced people to come in and hit the ground running.

This role is no different. Yes, you'll need experience in chilled food manufacturing, of leading and developing teams and can demonstrate successes around improvement and embedding change. The difference here is this company's commitment to developing talent. That's you by the way.

The site Technical lead here is one of the best. Highly-respected, she has a wealth of experience, having worked at a senior level in manufacturing and retail, her standards are high. You'll be given the chance to learn and develop into a Technical Manager, benefitting from coaching, advice and support where needed.

You thrive from delivering results in the fast-paced environment of chilled food production. This is a BRC AA grade factory, your style is audit ready at all times, so unannounced audits from retailers won't faze you, in fact, high standards are where you're at. You'll also ideally be degree qualified in a food science or related subject, if not a minimum of FS and HACCP Level 4 is required.
