Here's an opportunity that would suit you if you enjoy being mentally challenged and like problem solving. You'll be working for a leading FMCG brand, based at a highly automated and well-invested manufacturing site. They have high quality standards and ambitions to keep thriving through continuous improvement and investment in innovation.

Here you'll be the link between the R&D Team and Manufacturing. You'll be planning and overseeing production trials for new product introductions and improvements to existing products, whilst working to drive line efficiencies and reduce costs. This will involve being able to interpret the data, identify the root causes of issues and use your analytical skills to find solutions. You'll need to work closely with the manufacturing teams, getting to really understand how the lines operate and use their know-how to support your work. You'll also work closely with the R&D team, understanding new concepts and potential challenges in production to overcome.

In essence you'll need an understanding of manufacturing and the scientific ability to interpret the data along with the softer skills - being able to effectively collaborate with both factory and technical stakeholders in the business.

You'll have experience in conducting line trials and analysing data and working knowledge of tools to drive improvements along with a logical approach to problem solving. This might include formal CI/Lean/Six Sigma training or at least an understanding of the methodology. You'll have the opportunity to undergo further supported training in this area as part of your development here.
