Automation Engineer

We are currently shortlisting for an Automation Engineer on behalf of one of the UK's top food companies based in Cambridgeshire.

Ideally, you will be well-versed in control systems including Siemens PLC's / HMI's, and familiar with Wonderware / InTouch although this is not essential as training can be provided. Food / Pharmaceutical / FMCG experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities will include: providing technical support to on-site electricians; delivering a proactive response to breakdowns; providing software and network support to engineering colleagues and ensuring continuity of production at all times while driving continuous improvements throughout the site.

This is a Monday-Friday (days) position offering some flexibility, a competitive salary plus additional benefits including health care and discounts at major retailers.
