The Company

This is a great chance for you to make a stamp with a food manufacturer who are growing rapidly and need support immediately.

Start-up manufacturer who are innovative and focussed on developing an all-natural product that aims to be as sustainable as possible.

The Role

They are looking for someone who can really hit the ground running.

Project Manage a facility from batch processing through to full-scale production, including all aspects of processing budgets, logistics and supply.

The role will look to begin ASAP.

Lead engineering and process development phase including input on equipment and process selection for scale-up plant design.

Facilitate mass, flow and energy balance studies as well as sizing equipment and plant infrastructure.

Develop User Requirement Specifications, REP’s and RFQ’s for processes, equipment, and materials, review big packages, lead the negotiations on equipment, engineering and labour packages.

The Person

An Engineering degree, preferably Chemical, Manufacturing or Process Engineering.

Must have recent Food Manufacturing experience, preferably in dairy.

10+ years of experience in a Food Processing and/or /Bio-refining environment.

Must have an evidence-based approach to engineering design and decision making.

Experience in designing, building, and scaling processes from bench, through pilot, to full-scale manufacturing, ideally in a start-up environment.

Experience in biorefinery down-stream processing technologies including dewatering, separation, filtration, purification and drying
