We are looking for a dynamic, experienced and highly organised person who is able to commit to our business as a key production support manager. Working directly with our Operations Director and other key colleagues, you will demonstrate a sound understanding of process flow and time management in a production environment. How you interact with the team will be crucial to your success.
This is a great opportunity to join our award-winning business and for the right person a long term and prosperous future awaits.
This is a front line and hands-on management role where your personality and approach will be fundamental to your success. Wrapped up in the role you will be a resource manager, people manager, customer manager and a problem solver. There will be pressure so resilience, common sense and stamina are a must. You need to be confident enough to make decisions and to take responsibility for seeing them through. On the Technical / IT level you will be familiar with large production plant and equipment as well as a capable user of MS Office, including Excel spreadsheets.
A background in food manufacturing will be an advantage and is preferable. Without a doubt, it will be the ability, character and approach of the person that are most important. Whatever your background you must be able to demonstrate effective management ability in a fast paced environment and ideally with an understanding of health, safety and hygiene requirements.
It will be an advantage if you live in the area or if you are prepared to relocate as the demands of the job will be time consuming.
