Senior NPD Manager

A fantastic, worldwide, award winning client has an opportunity for a Senior NPD Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person with bundles of energy, drive and enthusiasm to join a fast-paced team working in chilled ready to eat foods, manufacturing products, utilising both poultry, seafood and vegan ingredients section of the business

The Senior Product Development Manager will provide professional development and product implementer for all retail development specifically supporting the Companies customer.

The Role

• Manage NPD projects assigned to you from concept to the successful product launch
• Facilitate the decision-making process on where (globally) and to whom (companies and sites) the briefs are formally issued to
• Support the account and technical managers in preparation for customer presentations
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with both suppliers and customers
• Facilitate the completion of the line trials and final product
• Make sure that kitchen specifications are completed documented and supplied to the customer
• Manage the Critical Path to ensure that each stage of the brief is followed
• Manage the closure of projects as they occur
• Communicate with ingredients suppliers
• Managing artwork, and artwork approvals
• Maintain open relationships with all stakeholders and act as an ambassador

The Candidate

• Must have a driving license
• Ability to travel within the UK and EU
• Experience with poultry, seafood, and vegan ingredients
• Process know how would be beneficial
• Microsoft office and excel skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team
• Communication
• Educated to A level standard or Educated to Degree level
