Operating from a state-of-the-art, purpose built factory facility, this is a market leading food business who produce a delicious range of high end food products for an array of customers. The business is committed to an on-going programme of process improvement and innovative new product development.
Managing the site Technical and Quality teams at the businesses manufacturing site, you will have complete ownership for the delivery of safe and consistently high quality products to market to guarantee the business remain a sector leader. This will involve managing and delivering product food safety, quality and legality to ensure internal and customer standards are adhered to. To do this, you will champion site TQM, GHP, GMP, HACCP, traceability, allergens risk management, and food safety risk reduction programs. There will be a dedicated team reporting into this role and he or she will work in partnership with all operational and commercial stakeholders to deliver a quality culture across the site. This is a front line factory geared role with plenty of customer communication and full involvement with BRC management.
The successful candidate will be a high-calibre technical professional with the capability to work within a dynamic and innovative food category. You should be confident in delivering a forward thinking technical strategy allowing the business to further develop their product. An ability to lead and empower individuals within high performing teams is important as is the capability to communicate and work cross-functionally across different departments both internally and externally. A strong working knowledge of BRC standards is essential.
