The job

The purpose of your role as Skilled Baker is to

Key tasks:

• Ensure recipes are followed to the specifications.
• Ensure baked goods are produced in the correct quantities according to plans.
• Ensure all Food Safety and Health & Safety protocols are followed.
• Ensure the bakery and production area is kept clean and tidy.
• Raise any issues or risks found regarding safety, hygiene, machinery etc. to management.

Your experience

To be considered for the Skilled Baker, you will:

• Ensure recipes are followed to the specifications.
• Ideally have experience as a Baker or working in a bakery environment, however a full training program can be provided.
• Knowledge of baking methods/techniques such as dough mixing, oven work and finishing bakery products.
• Food Hygiene certificate would be an advantage.
• Have a love of bakery products!

The Skilled Baker job is based in the Lake District region and is paying c. £24,000 according to your experience.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, night shift of 8 pm – 5 am.
