This is an exciting opportunity for a Factory General Manager to join a market leading, fast growing FMCG business in Lancashire!

My client is a multi-sited, market leading business who have exciting growth plans in place! This well-established business is now looking for an inspirational and highly ambitious Factory Manager to steer the ship at their site based in Lancashire.

As Factory Manager you will have full ownership of the factory, ensuring the site is running smoothly and efficiently and will be accountable for all factory operations and manufacturing KPIs.

You will head up the site management team and be the driving force for ensuring all targets are achieved and embedding a strong people focus culture across the factory. This role is all about people and process and needs an inspirational leader to ensure the team is happy and performing and that all processes are working.

As the site lead you will have full accountability for Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Technical. HSE and HR, driving standards for GMP, Hygiene and Health and Safety.

You will have the support and mentorship of the Head of Manufacturing who this role reports into but will also be trusted to make this role your own. To be successful in this role you will need to make some difficult decisions and be strategic and forward-thinking with your planning.

To be considered for this role you will have experience of manufacturing leadership within the FMCG or Food Manufacturing industry and be highly skilled across supply chain management, Continuous Improvement, and Lean process management as well having the knowledge and ability to accomplish the commercial and budgeting piece.
