The Company

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your commercial career with this entrepreneurial FMCG business. They are seeking a National Account Controller- Grocery, to drive category growth across a range of product areas for their largest customer retail account.

The Role

Reporting directly into the Group Commercial Director, you’ll lead one of their commercial teams and build exceptional relationships with their high street and grocery customers.  You’ll champion your area and drive clear strategy, development, and profitability across the group.

With your entrepreneurial spirit and drive to succeed, you’ll take full responsibility for the P&L for a high level account with your team, driving business forward through developing and implementing the commercial framework, formulating and delivering tailored plans to enable continual growth and generate new business.

In addition you’ll contribute to the ongoing development of the commercial team, working with senior management colleagues to motivate and mentor your direct reports and implement best in class methodologies to achieve business targets as well as market leading service.

The Person

We are looking for a passionate and engaging National Account Controller who has a demonstrable track record of launching own-label products within the top 6 Grocers. You will have extensive experience in managing the M&S account and will have a good understanding of their various standards and expectations.

Confident and a strategic thinker, you’ll be innovative and engaging in your approach to customer development.

You must have first class communication and organisational skills with the ability to inspire and lead other dynamic & passionate individuals.
