NPD Consultant - Part Time (Food)

To help them expand they are now seeking a part-time NPD Consultant who has a real passion for food innovation.

The Role

As part of the Product Team you’ll be reporting to the Product Director and be involved in all technical & NPD aspects of bringing delicious new products to market.

You will be driving first to market innovation from ideas through to launch in the stores. You’ll need to get your foodie researcher hat on and seek out hot new trends, source amazing new ingredients, play with flavour combinations, benchmark competitor products and translate food trends into fabulous concepts.  

The Candidate

We are looking for a NPD expert with experience in confectionery, bakery, or ice cream categories. You’ll be really resourceful, proactive and enjoy finding solutions.  You will have a passion for healthy foods, understand the NPD process as well as technical aspects of product development.

Suit an experienced food product developer with resilience, tenacity and lots of enthusiasm along with good project management and organisational skills, able to work well as part of a small dedicated team.
