This is an opportunity for someone to join an innovative FMCG business to take the next step in their supply chain career.

This business is an innovative supplier into the global retail industry that offers great progression and growth opportunities for someone that is looking to move forward in their supply chain and logistics career. They are flexible and offer full time remote working, so you could be based anywhere across England. Our client is continually growing, as part of a larger group, and look to invest in creative, passionate people that will grow with them.

The role is supporting fulfilment and execution of logistics activities with a focus on shipments from Asia. This includes the planning, implementation, and control of the flow of goods and services from the point of origin to meet all customer requirements.

You will work with 15+ key suppliers using purchase order data to align shipping plans and priorities with purchasing demand and supply teams. You will co-ordinate shipment booking schedules, owning the booking process right through to departure. Daily communication with freight forwarders and building a strong relationship will be key to this.

You will report directly into the Head of Logistics and be supported by the wider supply chain team. The role also includes opportunity to look closely at Lean implementation, Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma projects by reviewing all supply chain data ensuring World Class Manufacturing performance.

We are looking for someone to have experience of Import/Export, who has also worked with suppliers across different time zones, logistics planning, and Continuous Improvement areas. You will be very familiar with data analysis and reporting, SAP or ERP skills, end to end flow of sales, and up to date knowledge of logistics legislation.

Previous experience working within an FCMG business be advantageous.
