Reporting to the board and leading an established technical team, the Head of Technical will devise, shape and lead the technical agenda strategically to maximise opportunities for growth. Driving quality and consistency, you'll instigate the development of distinctive and competitive product solutions for customers, and work with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally. You'll be the custodian of brand reputation, and ensure that manufacturing standards are set, upheld, and deliver fantastic products for an evergrowing customer base.

The role sits as part of the SLT, and will be responsible for delivering the business plan, and the technical development of products across the product portfolio. Building strong partnerships with suppliers, the Head of Technical will implement robust quality management procedures across the business, and be able to audit against these regularly.

To achieve success in this role, it's likely that the successful candidate will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) and must have operated at senior level within a Technical leadership role within the food or FMCG arena. Evidence of being able to work at pace, along with the ability to inspire and encourage others will be important. The successful candidate will have a can-do attitude and be able to demonstrate an unwavering attention to brand integrity.
