Production Manager, West Sussex

Excellent opportunity for an ambitious Production Manager to join a market leading Food Manufacturing business in West Sussex!

Our client is a well-established Food Manufacturer, now looking for a Production Manager to join the team as the company go through an exciting period of growth!

As Production Manager, you will play an important part in ensuring the factory is running smoothly, accountable for several production lines and processes. This is a hands-on role where you will be required to really get 'stuck in' whilst leading an operations team across packaging and production.

You will be influential in your approach, leading from the front, offering coaching and training where required ensuring all your production KPIs are achieved.

You will work collaboratively with other departments including Technical, Quality, Health and Safety, Engineering etc. sharing your expertise and working as a team - 'doing what it takes to get the job done!'.

You will play an instrumental part in embedding a Continuous Improvement culture across the site and will be involved in CI projects, bringing ideas to the table, specifically across production and packaging processes to help improve OEE and downtime.

To be considered for this post you will have Production Management experience within the Food Manufacturing or FMCG industry or as a Shift Manager / Team Leader who feels ready to take that next step up. Ideally you will have a sound knowledge of Food Safety, HACCP, IOSH Managing Safely and Hygiene within the food production space and will have worked within a fast-paced, high pressurised environment before.
