The business

We are working with a leading fresh produce business offering a wide range of fresh produce concepts into the retailer market. They are looking to strengthen the development team with the appointment of a development technologist.



The role

To manage and coordinate the launch of new products and improve EPD in the Fresh category for all customers.

Ensure all NPD and EPD is developed in accordance with customer brand values, nutritional guidelines and brief, create and review nutritional's for all concepts and ensure associated claims can be made where required. Create and own the NPD critical paths and trial plans, lead the NPD meeting within the business, sign off artwork, carry out benchmarking and taste panels when required.

The candidate

The ideal candidate will currently be doing a similar role within a food manufacturing / fresh produce business or you will be a graduate with one year of NPD placement experience. You will have a passion for food development and driving innovation for your product category. You will have the skills to be able to manage multiple projects, ideally have presented to retailers previously and have good administration skills.
