Development Chef opportunity within a rapidly expanding business is ready to make you their next key player as they reach for the skies.
Due to increased demand as the economy gets back to its feet following the last turbulent 18 months, the role of Development Chef is wanted for my North London based client. The business is a growing company with very experienced leaders at the helm within mass food manufacture.
Their customers span branded restaurants, airlines, and grocery retailers. Creating full menus, seasonal ready meals and dining at high altitude, they seek an experienced Development Chef, who craves diversity, creativity and security. It's a well-structured business, with a strategy that will see them expand exponentially over the next 12 months.
In this role you must bring an understanding of the full stage-gate process for NPD. Also, we require you to have strong Indian cuisine knowledge. Many of the customers offer Indian Subcontinent cuisine, albeit there is still a large customer base for Southeast Asian and Continental food too.
If you would like the chance to spread your wings, working with a range of customers on predominantly Indian dishes covering both North and South regions, then this role will be great for you. Bringing your creativity and systematic knowledge of menu and dish development is crucial here. You will be well rewarded in an environment that promotes ideas, leadership, and autonomy.
During interview we will discuss the plans for the business and your understanding of both Grocery Retailer food development and Aviation menu design. Additional experience and qualities will be welcomed too, of course, but the experience within NPD is a priority here.
