This is a great opportunity for a Supply Chain professional to join a leading speciality food business that have numerous routes to market.

This role will give you the opportunity to work with an international supply base within a fast-paced leading speciality food business. They are a strong brand working across manufacturing and foodservice that offer autonomy and development.

You will be responsible for the overall execution of the Supply Chain strategy, working independently and with the Head of Supply and other departments to implement and propose new processes and ways of working that will enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Supply Chain.

You will also manage the day to day running of the Supply Team with a team of six direct reports made up of Supply Planners and Purchasing Coordinators. You will ensure company stock levels are optimised through effective communication, problem solving, team supervision and use of appropriate systems and processes.

Supporting the Head of Supply will include managing and reporting on key supply chain metrics and deputising for them, providing senior level support as required.

You must have at least two years' experience of supply chain supervision within an FMCG environment, as well as reporting and improving supply chain performance and direct line management.

Alongside your experience the business is looking for you to have a proactive management style and strong communication skills to be able to work cross-functionally across the business. Food business experience and knowledge of EU import regulations following Brexit would be an advantage but are not required.
