Production Shift Manager

The Shift Manager is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of all shift activities across the site, from material preparation through to despatch, including Health and Safety and Quality.

Responsible for management, support, motivation and development of all shift personnel, including Shift Supervisors, team leaders, material preparation, process technicians, production operators, 2nd operations, warehouse and logistics. Through Department Heads responsible for on shift maintenance technicians, toolfitting technicians and Q.A. technicians.

Supporting the Operations Manager with specific focus on the performance of all elements within the plant, it’s systems and procedures, ensuring that they are regularly reviewed and deliver safe, efficient and audit ready operations at all times. Sustaining year on year performance improvements against key metrics.

Salary: £40,000 - £55,000

Working hours: Basic 40 hours. Shift pattern:  Rotating 6-2, 2-10. Fixed 10-6. Start 30 mins prior to shift start for handover. Flexible to meet the needs of the business.
