The Company.
Working for one of the leading food producers within the UK, our client manufactures a range of produces including many well-known branded products. 

The Role.
The successful applicant will ensure that a dynamic programme of process and product innovation is created and delivered for the site. This will involve providing process support and developing internal process expertise within the wider NPD teams to support the site in setting out the technical vision and strategy aligned with the business plans and strategy.

The Responsibilities. 
•    Set out a clear vision and strategy for the site process development function.
•    Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the sites manufacturing capabilities, systems, processing parameters.
•    Develop and maintain an awareness of supplier base, their capabilities and strengthens, for purpose of development initiatives.
•    Manage and develop the product and process team to achieve the annual targets and continuously improve team performance.

The Person. 
•    Good, working knowledge of our product portfolio, development and processes
•    Degree or equivalent experience.
•    A good working knowledge of contacts within the food supply chain.
•    Proven experience of Technical / Product Development management in a commercially focussed FMCG environment
•    Innovative thinker with ability to generate/deliver value added solutions that positively affect the business performance.
•    Committed management style who loves to coach, build and lead a team to success.
•    Impactful and adaptable negotiator capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
•    High levels of self-motivation, a strong team player with the ability to positively challenge and inspire stakeholders to enhance performance
