Operations Lead

Following the continued success of a highly recognised business, we are currently supporting the site with a newly created Operations Lead position.

The site is going through a continued period of change; constantly seeking areas to improve and actioning daily. You will be innovative and enjoy challenging the status quo. This is a business where your thoughts and fresh ideas are not tolerated; they are welcomed, encouraged and they will give you the autonomy to action.

The successful candidate will oversee both production and warehouse operations across the business. The primary focus of the role is with the heart of the business; the people. You will be an excellent leader with a track record of success in building and developing teams. If you are a leader that likes to lead behind a desk, this one is not for you. You will be on the factory floor; engagement and motivation of the team will be the key to the sites continued success. In return, you will also be developed by the senior leadership team to reach your goals and give you access to further opportunities.

As a new position created within the business you will have the opportunity to make your mark, truly putting a stamp on the role and make an impact; setting the standards across the business. You will be number 2 on site and will have the autonomy to not only make changes on your day to day but also within the long term strategy across the business.

Previous experience overseeing both warehouse and production operations will prove highly advantageous for this role. A background in food manufacturing is essential.

This is a Mon-Fri office hours based role.
