Maintenance Engineer

We are working exclusively with a major international produce manufacturer who have a fantastic opportunity to join their team in West Sussex as their new Maintenance Engineer. The Maintenance Engineer they are looking for will be assisting the site in displaying engineering best practice and support the company's future growth plans.

To be successful within this Maintenance Engineer position, you will need to be able to demonstrate a positive and can-do attitude, showing your committed nature when the going gets tough. You will be an individual who leaves no stone unturned when tackling problems and want to take an active and willing approach to developing your own knowledge and skills.

The successful candidate will be trained within either an electrical or mechanical bias and have experience working within an electrical or mechanical function. Ideally, you will have a background in manufacturing and will be multi-skilled, however this is not essential as full training support will be provided.

Some of the key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer will be:

·Fault diagnosis including troubleshooting equipment related process problems to determine cause and to investigate repairs

·Repair all electrical and mechanical systems and equipment

·Drive ongoing preventative maintenance programmes

·Maintain Health, Safety and Hygiene standards in accordance to company rules and regulations

·Completion of all maintenance records

·General maintenance of site

To the successful candidate the company are offering up to £38,000 per annum + a fantastic overtime scheme.
