The company

We are seeking a talented individual to work for an innovative, high-quality manufacturer which supplies to various retailers throughout the UK.

The job

As Stock Control Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that adequate stock levels are maintained in accordance with company targets plus manage the stock control team, ensuring all tasks are completed to meet business objectives.

This is a strategic level role where you will drive change and procedural compliance with a strong focus on actioning slow-moving stock by policing compliance to agreed buffer stock levels to reduce the number of stock adjustments currently made.

You will carry out regular analysis and reporting on stock movements, liaising regularly with the Production Administrators to improve stock usage efficiency.

About you

You will have strong, in-depth experience of stock control management, stock reporting, forecasting, analysis, and meeting KPI’s within a fast-paced FMCG environment, most ideally food or beverage manufacturing.

Strong communication and organisation skills are essential as you will be building robust internal relationships.

You will also have excellent IT skills including Excel and ideally have previous experience using Stock Control software (Access Supply Chain) would be beneficial as would line management experience.
