Job Details

Leading the world to better nutrition - a highly specialised senior scientific regulatory role focussed on food and feed enzymes.

This global company has built a well-deserved reputation across taste and nutrition. Food, beverage, feed and pharmaceutical customers rely on their technical expertise, innovative applications and consumer insight.

Here you will be given a remarkable opportunity to explore and grow; from Senior Scientist to Principal Scientist, there is a clearly defined pathway.

There's no denying, this is a highly specialised role, requiring specific knowledge and expertise on food and feed enzymes regulations for EU and other jurisdictions including dossier submission.

As the global regulatory specialist, you'll provide guidance to develop regulatory plans for enzyme products which are sold into different food and feed applications. You'll be a strong project manager, coordinating activities into toxicological studies and genome sequencing. Preparing documentation for product registrations globally, you'll also be creating and managing technical documents day to day. As the specialist, you'll maintain a keen awareness of pending new regulations and their impact on the enzymes sector, internally to the business and proactively to customers.

A degree in food science, biology, chemistry or relative subject will form the foundation to your specialist working knowledge around the application, scientific and technical aspects of enzymes used in food and feed. Other desirable knowledge will extend across regulatory implications in industrial fermentation process, enzymology and/or genetic engineering.

It's likely you will already have an existing network from working with regulatory authorities e.g. EU and related trade associations. Ultimately, you'll thrive contributing to a strong, global and diverse team environment, providing the opportunity to learn, grow and develop your skills further.

My client recognises finding these skills isn't easy. This is why they are offering a full relocation package, sponsorship and Visa assistance for the right candidate. So, wherever you are in the world, you can apply with confidence.
