Food Innovation Manager

The Company

This is an exciting opportunity to join an entrepreneurial, artisanal food manufacturer who produce a wide array of specialist and mouth-watering products. They are now looking for an experienced and accomplished Food Manager to own their message and drive continuous improvement of their range.

The Role

In this pivotal Food management role you’ll be working across key projects to be the representative for the food team while overseeing the front end of the development process. Your key responsibilities will include working alongside the creative teams to ensure that the message of the brand is clear internally and to the customers. You will be tracking new product information from brief to commercial sign off prior to launch as well as identifying the right resources required for a particular concept. Being the key point of contact throughout development, you will also be working collaboratively with the food training team, production and technical team to form a plan for quality, both short term and longer term. In addition, you will manage project dates and launches, providing key updates to all parties as well as being the face of the company to the partners.

You will also be working on key company projects representing food and brand such as events, art exhibitions or local neighbourhood events.

The Person

Suit an enthusiastic foodie who has gained invaluable NPD experience in a similar management role within retail, brand or food manufacturing. You will be a highly collaborative team member, excellent communicator and be up for any challenge. In addition you’ll need to have excellent attention to detail and will be well practiced in organising, influencing and motivating a team to achieve success. You’ll be full of drive and ambition with a creative, can-do attitude and strong interpersonal and influencing communication skills. You’ll be keen to work in a fast paced environment with an unfailing level of enthusiasm and energy to drive business forward and succeed.
