Sustainability Manager

The Role.

An exciting new position has arisen for an experienced sustainability professional. Reporting to the Sustainability Director the successful candidate will own and manage the delivery of specific programmes within sustainability to maximise the business’s social impact (for example climate change, food waste reduction, food surplus redistribution and sustainable packaging systems) ensuring annual targets are met within agreed budgets.

The Person.

Experience working within the UK food and consumer goods industry within a sustainability role, you will have strong project management skills and be capable of working under pressure and adopting a flexible approach to meet changing priorities. With excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, you will have experience of managing a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Ideally you will be be educated to degree level, ideally within a sustainability or environmental related subject.
