Job Details
Do you have a degree in either Food Science, Food Technology or Nutrition and are looking for your first role in the food industry or do you have previous NPD experience and are looking for a change? I am currently recruiting for a NPD Technologist to join an ever growing Food Manufacturer who work with major food services and retail companies.
The main responsibilities of the role will be to:
- Look at regular market trends coming up with new ideas for new products
- You will plan, manage and take part in NPD trials
- Spend time in the development kitchen testing out existing and new products
- You will meet with suppliers, customers and take part in customer presentations so previous customer facing experience would be great
The Ideal candidate will:
- Previous experience working in a food manufacturing environment in a similar role which can be a placement year at Uni
- Have a relevant degree in Food
- Previous experience of delivering presentations
