The Company

This award winning food manufacturer supply an ever evolving range of premium food products. They are seeking a very experienced Innovation Chef to create and launch first-to-market, standout products within the QSR and Foodservice sector.

The Role

Providing culinary leadership within the foodservice and QSR (Quick Service Restaurants) category, you will be the first point of contact for they key QSR accounts from a culinary perspective. You will work closely with the R&D and Quality Managers to deliver product solutions which meet the needs of the clients and food strategies of the business. You’ll play an influential role in creating delicious concepts and translating them into stand out menu items that will impress your clients in the food service sector. As well as developing and testing new recipes you will also be managing costings, organising internal and external presentations, carrying out competitor reviews and liaising with ingredients suppliers. In addition to being a whiz in the kitchen you’ll have a geeky passion for experimenting with new kit to create exciting first to market products. You really enjoy working with key customers, using your culinary flare to create tantalizing meat free options that consumers will adore.

The Candidate

We are looking for a high profile development chef who exudes innovation and has a passion for vegan, vegetarian and meat alternative products. This is a client focused role so you will need to have excellent communication and food presentation skills along with the ability to effectively articulate your ideas. Experience of developing menus with QSR and food service customers is essential as you’ll need to launch successful products into that sector. As well as having strong commercial awareness and creative flair, you’ll have experience of encouraging creative thinking and enjoy keeping up to date with new food trends.
