Producing fantastic products for the major grocery retailers, this high-profile business has recently enjoyed considerable investment, and have exciting plans for the future.

Taking a lead in the planning department, you'll will be managing day to day production planning activities and maintaining service levels to both internal and external customers. With an eye for details, you'll use your knowledge of fast paced manufacturing to ensure a 'right first time' attitude, and coach and develop a team of planners within the business.

You will need to be a strong communicator and be able to have regular dialogue with our customer supply chain teams. You'll know when to escalate and prioritise in the absence of senior management, and relish the chance to take on additional responsibility. You'll also be able to together with your colleagues in operations to address and resolve production needs such as materials availability, inventory levels and stock control.

Is this for me? If you've held a role in planning, or have operated at management level within operations, you'll have an appreciation of this role. You'll need to be flexible as this role is shift based on days only. You'll need to be IT literate and have the ability to manipulate and work with data at speed.
