London
Supporting the retail food store, food factory and restaurant, food service and hospitality
customers, this role requires the following skills:-
Key Accountabilities
• Product Specifications: - Write product specifications, maintain and review
• Manage food technical requirements for retail, wholesaler & foodservice customers using
• customer’s own product specification & online specification portal
• Assist technical team during customer visits & audits, and maintain quality management system
• Support customer complaints investigations
• Carry out internal audits, including GMP & hygiene audits
• Assist in NPD activities where required
• To check and approve artwork for in house products and imported products
• To review product sampling programme and coordinate product testing to verify product quality and safety
• To keep up to date with any food legislative changes and notify relevant parties
Person Specification
• Degree or equivalent in a food science discipline is preferred
• Excellent working knowledge of HACCP and BRC V6 or IFS
• High level of computer literacy (Excel, Word, Power Point)
• Ability to prioritise work objectives
• Up to date knowledge of food legislation and its interpretation
• Proficient in written and verbal Mandarin and Cantonese preferable
